Mountain View Farm was built in 2006 by Sharon Heaps and
her husband Robert. Sharon has been involved with horses
since she was six years old. Back then, her riding consisted
of gymkhana and barrel racing. Her first pony was a leased
Chincoteague pony named "Shorty". Eventually, by the time
Sharon turned twelve she bought her first pony named Mac
whom she trained herself; and won many championships in
gymkhana.
After seeing her first Dressage at Devon show in 1999 she
knew right then and there her life would change! Not only
did she fall in love with the beauty and skill of dressage,
but also the gorgeous warmbloods that were performing those
incredible movements.
A lifelong dream came true when Sharon and her husband
found 18 acres in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Sharon
purchased her main broodmare Deseree, an imported
Westphalian that has produced champions and premium foals.
Trying to take time learning dressage and breeding only
one foal a year with quality bloodlines has allowed Sharon
to have the nice small dressage stable that contains many
bright prospects for the future!
